1800 CP/UHT

The 1800-CP/UHT is well suited for texturing both Aluminum and Glass substrates. It can also be used for post carbon processing. The machine is configured with two independently controlled magazines, each having fluid valve components for controlling slurry to the disk / roller interface. Menu driven software allows for rapid adjustments to the machine by simply typing in the desired value. This feature makes this system very easy to perform large-scale experiments. All of the critical machine outputs, load roller force, tape speed and tension, spindle oscillation frequency and rotation are fully instrumented. Sensor output is continuously fed back to the system computer. This closed loop feedback system allows for uniform processing from disk to disk. The feedback can be viewed on a screen so that you can see the machine’s performance in real time. The exclusive spindle oscillation feature allows for higher frequencies. The result of these features produces a uniform surface finish on both surfaces of the disk.
