Charles Reichel,
Vice President - Engineering
Mr. Reichel has over 27 years management and technical experience in biotechnology, capital equipment and disk drive design. His broad background in project and manufacturing management, mechanical design, quality assurance and training has been instrumental in the development of numerous components and devices used throughout the world. He holds a patent for a "Method for Chemical Mechanical Polishing" and is currently guiding EDC Biosystems' team of engineers through the product development stages. Previously, Mr. Reichel held various engineering leadership roles with Insite Peripherals and Optimem, Inc. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from San Jose State University (San Jose, California).
